Good question. Where HAVE I been?

Right here, I guess. Watching stories of war, listening to commentaries on the radio (best I heard today? Sports Junkies on HFS, I kid you not), watching my points rise in the March Madness pool and soaking up the sun (minus Sheryl Crow, thank you).

Work is stressful – no down time – NONE. I am still learning and Melissa’s baby is going to appear any day now (waves to Logan) and I still don’t know what I am doing. Almost (key word) makes one long for the days of talking to dolts.

Mostly though, I long to run away to another place entirely – one filled with warm breezes, beverages of my choice, Eddie tapes, hard pretzels that don’t crack your teeth, a computer with T-1 access, books and hot tea upon demand. And that’s just a start. Anyone know a place like that? Anyone want to come with me to said place? I think I may take just one or at most two people so the competition might be fierce! Anyway, I’m here, if a bit apathetic and snarky. The war thing has me bugged and upset … an online friend is there (I think – he couldn’t tell me where he was going) and I’m concerned for him and everyone who is there. I wasn’t this bothered by Desert Storm (and I probably should have been) but this one really upsets me.

Anyway … nothing here to see peeps … just move along.
