… have had rain. I’m sitting here listening to Don & Mike rant on about my favorite topic. 22 days in a row have had rain.
Where is the warm weather? We have no warmth, we have no sun, we have … SEATTLE! Arrgh. Don is talking about the poor idiots who were in OC with their boogie boards and the temp was 54 degrees. Let’s blame the weatherman! :)
Oh wait. My beloved cousin’s son, Joe, is weather geek and I once had a friendship of sorts with a WxBoy so I guess that wouldn’t really be a proper thing to do. Drat. (D&M are playing the weather forecast that you get when you call on the phone – rain, rain and again, rain). As Mike says “The clouds will part and then it will be 90” … HEE! We totally lost spring this year.
Whee!!

EDDIE IZZARD / SEXiE
Warner Theatre
Iconoclastic comedian/actor EDDIE IZZARD, venerated and adored by fans and critics alike for his lightening quick wit and truly surreal humor, is embarking upon the largest tour of his highly successful career this summer. Fittingly titled-SEXIE-the show will reach North America in late August and continue through to mid-November with dates in 16 cities across the continent.
The press has called IZZARD everything from the “funniest man in pretty much all of the known universe,” to “a human search engine,” to “a surrealist maestro of historical and scientific trivia,” to “a one-man Monty Python crew.” IZZARD initially penetrated the American psyche with his one-man show “Dress To Kill” on HBO, which garnered three Emmy nominations and won two, and is now available on DVD for the first time on these shores. His last tour, “Circle,” was the hottest ticket in town in the nine cities where IZZARD performed, culminating with a seven night sold-out engagement at New York’s Town Hall.
In between tours, IZZARD has been earning rave reviews for his acting talent on the big screen and most recently on Broadway, where he is starring in “A Day In The Death Of Joe Egg,” for which he just received a Tony nomination for “Best Leading Actor in a Play.”
This show contains material suited for mature audiences. (UH, well, he says “fuck” alot. Does that count?)
Mon., October 27 @ 8:00 PM and Tues., October 28 @ 8:00 PM
(and yes, I’m going both nights. I am an Izzardite, after all!!)
Off to the gym!
Do you know of anywhere I could pick up 2 tickets for the 10/27 or 10/28 show?
THanks
Dave
22 days of rain??? Good gravy, woman! I hope you’re taking your vitamin D! Say hi to the ducks in the backyard…oh, and when it finally stops raining–that big yellow ball of fire you’ll see in the sky is the SUN [remember the sun?], not a nuclear explosion, so don’t freak out.
Love, hugs and galoshes,
