Other people may have some seriously opposing opinions with regard to how things should be done. Be prepared for battle, dear Libra, because others are likely to have sharp and hurtful tongues. The key to finding solutions that will work for everyone is compromise. Realize that the best solution is probably the one that neither party has thought of on their own. Work together to come up with the best situation for everyone involved.
Hmm, now how did the stars know that HRM is returning next week and I suspect she will have many, many opposing opinions on just about everything? Good thing I am the goddess of compromise and avoidance of confrontation and will be able to just hide over there in the corner. I am NOT sitting at Dave’s old desk (the “Milton cubicle” minus the red swingline) which is centrally located RIGHT OUTSIDE her door. Bad enough I had to endure taking that panel out when we sat in cubes at the other place. I’m not subjecting myself to that again.
So, it’s okay if she comes back and it’s even okay if she brings her satchel full of bad vibes, just come back so I get out from under this anvil that’s been looming over my head for the past 3 months. Can we say S T R E S S?? Yes, I thought so.
Fell asleep at 8pm last night and missed “Sex and the City” – dammit! Good thing HBO shows this like 12 kazillion times more this week. Berger dumps Carrie with a post it note (and this from a TWoPer: “Otherwise, I only wish *I* had gotten the dignity of a post-it when I was dumped by the one person I loved”), Harry returns and proposes to Charlotte and stuff happens to the other two as well. From what the kids say on the forums, it was an excellent ep. Note to Self: MUST WATCH TONIGHT. (Take stay awake drugs)
Must I go back to doing work now? I’ve eaten about 2/3ds of a bagel (carbs be dammed, I need them!), read all of the SaTC forum at the aforementioned TWoP, looked up the name of a doctor to see for my low-level pooty feeling and now feel like going back to bed.
