IS James Gandolfini on the prowl? The star of “The Sopranos,” who left his wife and child last year amid some bitter charges, has been living with his dark-haired girlfriend, Lora Somoza. But sources say it’s over. “He’s hitting downtown spots saying he’s free,” said one source. The two met on the set of “The Mexican,” where she was a director’s assistant. The brooding Gandolfini is said to share some character traits with the psychoanalyzed mob boss he plays on TV.

I’ve already notified my husband that if he comes home and I’ve gone, this will be the reason. Why do I dig James Gandolfini? Well, as my other true love, Eddie Izzard explains so well in “Dress to Kill”:

“Then when you’re more mature, you do start telling the truth in odd situations. “I’m sorry, I’ve broken the glass, I’ve broken this? is that expensive? I’ve broke it. I’ll pay for that, I’m sorry.” And you do that so people in the room might go, “What a strong personality that person has. And you see, Tony Soprano has quite the “strong personality”. Ipso facto, gone. Of course, I would leave for Eddie as well. Tony Soprano and Eddie Izzard. Interesting dichotomy there, eh?

HEY! I met a new pal online named Kevin. He was reading over my list of 100 Things about me (#14 im particular) and said “I should have guessed you’re an Eddie fan” – does it show?? :) I will take that as a compliment. He blogs AND he is also going to the Eddie show in October (but only one night – HA!) – what a cool pal to have!

In fact, I have several very cool pals … some who make me laugh, some who make me sing and some who take good care of me. (Sometimes, if I am very lucky, they do all three!)

Tomorrow is Friday and not to put too fine a point on it – about fuckin’ time!!! Jeeeeez. It’s the day I get to have a whole bagel for breakfast too! Wheee. (The Atkins lifestyle works great for me and Friday is my little treat day). I think though, I would rather have Tysons Bagel Bakery one (the real bagels) rather than the Foo-Foo ones from Panera. But – it’s bread and that’s all good anyways (Just on Fridays, mind you because carbs do not equal size 10 jeans, Lisa!!)
