… except for cow-worker trying really hard to pull me into Gossip Central this morning, it wasn’t all that bad, actually. Kudos to the VP for handling things well and keeping the gossip and yuck to a minimum.

And on top of that, she also told me that I got a $4100 raise! That’s a surprise! She said they do not (emphasis hers) want me to leave and want to keep me happy. And I should tell her if I’m not or if something comes down the pike that would make me happier. (hmm, wonder what that could be??)

Caps won last night and since I watched only the first period, I am wondering if there just isn’t something to this whole “I’m a jinx” thingy. Next game is Wednesday night. Shall I further test this theory?

I need to admit my addiction to Cubis. I cannot pull myself away from it and have wasted more hours than I care to mention or count playing this dumb game. It’s quite mind numbing, thank you. Just what one needs as she works herself back into a non-vacation routine.
