Changing up the marshmallow to oat ratio*

Where have I been?? Geez … every time I think I’m gonna post something, something else comes up! But I checked the Friday Five site and these are easy so I’m doing it now and getting it out there.

At this moment, what is your favorite…

1. …song?
Since I’ve gotten my Ipod, I’ve been listening to alot of stuff that I hadn’t burned onto cd. One of them has become a repeat listen – Howie Day “Ghost”. He’s cool and rather in the John Mayer vein so I’m digging on it. (I surely won’t admit that Britney Spears “I’m a Slave 4 U” is #2 on my most played list. Nope. Can’t make me admit it.)

2. …food?
Ribs from Mike’s American restaurant. UMMMMM MMMMM

3. …tv show?
Since getting Tivo I’ve been able to record “The Daily Show” with Jon Stewart and I love it! That guy is funny as all hell. I can’t wait ’til the presidential races start rocking and rolling just to hear their take on it. Excellent show!

4. …scent?
There’s this yummy sniff at ULTA - smells like those Orangesicle ice cream bars. Only thing is, I don’t know if I wanna smell like that all day. But it’s nifty for a bit.

5. …quote?
“A drunk man speaks a sober man’s truth” (Heard this on DC 101 this morning and thought it was worth passing along)

BTW – Although I’ve been invited for a 2nd interview with DC advisor, I decided not to move forward. They are offering less $ than I make at current place of employ when it would cost me more to work there (metro, clothes, insurance). I would be losing (loosing? ha Twinnie!) money on the deal. So … no. Not to mention a slew of other constrictions I didn’t cotton to. (More on this later)

Peace out, yo.

*Obscure John Mayer YBIAW song reference

Keep looking for a new job. You’ll find one that is more rewarding and pays better eventually. And I hope it is not in DC; the commute will suck the soul right out of you. I ought to know; it nearly sucked mine out of me!
