Horror-scope for today:
Necessity tugs at your sleeve. Duty whispers gratingly in your ear. (Duty! Stop that!! Daggone you!) If you could switch these things off, you would. However, this is no time to ignore the unseen armature that supports the more fun parts of your life. The basics need to be maintained in order to keep chaos at a minimum. Instead of grumbling and procrastinating, be reasonable. The sooner you take care of the boring, unglamorous stuff, the sooner you can go out and be carefree again. The beautiful people of that world don’t have to know about your shadow life.
Friday Five is still wonky – they have last week’s question still up and since I didn’t answer that, I will now:
1. What do you like most about your job? The freedom to IM my friends as much as I want, surf the web unabashedly and that there’s a Dunkin Donuts on the way so I can have coffee every day.
2. What do you like least about your job? Office gossip & politics and of course, the CEOFH. Oh, and fuckwit co-workers.
3. When you have a bad day at work it’s usually because: Too much work to do, not enough time to do it and idiots bugging me.
4 What other career(s) are you interested in? I’d like to do something really “woo-woo” and use my extraordinary empathy skills to help others somehow.
AWWWW
Is she not the cutest little baby? This is Baby Weeko Anna and I can’t wait to hold her. Wheee! I loves me some babies. (Especially girl babies. At work they all have boys!)
I think I’m gonna leave work at 3. It will take all I can do to stay here ’til then, anyway. It’s time to visit Islamorada, I think. Duty won 40 hours of PTO at his company and I said we should go on a vacation. It’s been 2 years since we went to Florida and I am just about ready for some time pool sitting and vegging.
