Not too shabby for a kid who just got out of the hospital after a real fun (/sarcasm) stay, eh?
Happy Birthday, babygirl. (Can I still call an 18 year old “babygirl”? I am thinking that might need to stop or at least not be so public, hey?) As I wrote in my semi-weekly “Lauren” update to friends and family today, I think she looks pretty darn good. :)
Check out this picture of La and her “Nuncle” Duty – and yes, that’s a Washington Caps cake he had made for her! (He’s an excellent nuncle!). She got many presents of which I am jealous, btw. Hopefully, she will share her Italy books with me since the Ciao Bella 2K5 tour isn’t that far off!
Anyway, she’s doing okay – home for the week – graduation is Friday. In between, we will re-organize her room (well, I will help while she gets to sit on the bed and order me around – pretty decent deal, eh?) and make it more Lauren-friendly (i.e.: computer close at hand!)
I’m glad she’s home – and I throw 11 kisses and a wish for a speeeeedy recovery in her direction.
