Hung out tonight with the G of L and watched “Top Gun” (confidential to La: “Look! His britches is undone!” tee hee (I’m 12)) while making (what else) snarky comments. We couldn’t drag Goddaughter the younger in to watch half naked oily men. Man. What is this world coming to? I ask you.
We’ve decided to make pilot names for ourselves – I’m “Dodger” and she’s “Jammy” – didn’t waste alot of brain cells on that, did we?
Broke the news to the employer about leaving in 2 weeks – went pretty well, all considered. June 22 is last day and hallejuah for that! I. AM. DONE.
Hectic day between stuff with work, stuff with da mother and other general floating anxieties but at 10:47pm (as I write this), all is okay. An angst filled day for me.
Oh, and congrats to my boyz, the Tampa Bay Lightning on winning the 2004 Stanley Cup! They deserved it.
