Taken from Ruminate This. org:
so there’s been all this tee-heeing going on today about the latest twisted communication lashed together by our glorious erudite leader in another desperate, futile effort to prove that he can, so, do better than trained monkeys. As he’s signing the Defense Spending Bill (proving once again the old maxim about two things at once), the President of the United States says:
?Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.?
…what I want to know is, what the hell is so funny about that? It sounds to me like a fitting, accurate, and elegantly simple encapsulation of the last 3 1/2 years during which we’ve have to endure these addled waterheads. You won’t find me slapping my knee and hooting “isn’t that the stupidest thing you’ve seen since Grandpa’s coon-dog piddled on the electric fence” because I do not view this as another endearing little malapropism; this, dear reader, was a Freudian slip, an inadvertent intelligence leak, a quick view at that little man behind the curtain…
…this was the truth, let loose in an unguarded (or, perhaps, overtaxed) moment. One can almost see Karl Rove reaching for the Drano…
My newest motto is this:
And yes, Mr. Mark! This is another political post. All to itself, even! Can ya believe it? Even I find the irony in that.
Reaches over and puts on her new tinfoil hat and clicks on Kos for the 40th time today!
