This cracked me up!
From this Dkos entry
JEERS to Bush’s Flip-Flop schedule. Pay attention: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday we can win the war on terror. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday we can’t. Post it on your fridge so you won’t lose track.
Ah! An oasis of sanity in the midst of the RNC!

… and feeling icky. Not sure why. Just do (physically icky, not mentally icky as I can feel sometimes).
FYI, I’ve created a political blog so certain loved ones in my family don’t have to stop visiting casa de Snark to avoid the rampant W hate that I espouse. It’s not a lot of […]

…. I was feeling physically icky because I somehow managed to get a teeny whiff of a cold trying to grab hold of me. Nothing major - just some low-level pootyness going on. It has the unfortunate side effect, however, of making me stay away from my 12 year old playmate and that […]

I wanted to write some pithy commentary on what it means to me to honor the memory of 9-11 but nothing seemed to want to come out. I did, however, wave to some people standing on a bridge over I-95 holding aloft american flags - does that count? No? Darn. I did send […]

By Mark Purdy, Mercury News

And as we all know, temporary suicide is a rare phenomenon.
Hockey’s owners and players will be lucky if their sport survives this […]

Lauren had surgery today to remove that mean old right femur bone and seems like everything went well. Duty talked to Mary and she said although surgery lasted over 6 hours (which was expected), Lauren was doing fine and the prosthesis they had made to replace the bone fit perfectly (just about).
So far, so […]

TWO EMMYS!! You go, Daily Show! This show is on my “CAN’T MISS” list.
The Sopranos also won for best drama (FINALLY!) and Drea de Matteo won for best supporting actress in a drama (and totally deserved it!)
Excellent!
Okay, off to hell for the day.

annie mae, annie mae
seems i’ve gone and lost my way
as situations go, i think that i can safely say
i’m lost, baby, find me
i’m lost, baby, find me
i wonder where you were
Just sitting here listening to tunes and pondering life’s questions. Like, how come if someone goes a different way to a place than you […]
