… well, moving in any direction! I heard on Elliot that the NHL Players Association has asked for a meeting with the owners in Toronto and it’s scheduled for Monday or Tuesday of next week. Oh please oh please oh please let this season be salvaged. PLEASE. This no hockey stuff is for the birds. More when I hear about it, kiddies (that’s really just you and HockeyKim (waves to her buddy)).
Okay, what else is going on? The phones at work have been very busy (no clue why) but I am trying (in my woo-woo way) to put only good, positive energy over the phone and really be of service. I’m checking to see if that makes a difference in the kinds of calls I get. Overall, most people are really very nice. Some are idiots, some are clueless idiots and don’t ask me about Indian men. But all in all, it’s okay.
On the really woo-woo front, Rose is giving another workshop but this time on higher level celestial perception where I will learn all manner of cool energetic/spiritual healing techniques. Wheeeee. I can’t wait for that. I know that someday (soon) I will leave current place of employ and go do this work that I am here to do and I’m always glad to have opportunities to learn new skills. Especially with Rose. She’s a good teacher and mentor to me. I am a bit bummed that it’s the same weekend as another class I really want to take but that class is offered again soon. I am going to ask (because I know the woman teaching it and she’s very very cool) if it’s possible to move it to the next weekend so I can go. If not, that’s okay because I know the opportunity will come around again when it’s time.
As far as I know, Goddaughter of Love is the only one taking me up on my “Adopt a Soldier” challenge so we are going to get our presents and cards and stuff together this weekend, I hope, and get them in the mail. I thought we’d send a couple phone cards, make some brownies and/or cookies, put in some batteries for electronics there …. not sure what else yet. Maybe a goofy stuffed animal of some sort. Kohls always has funny stuffed ones for $5 so I might zoom over there and see what’s what.
