Good Morning babies ‘O Lurve …
Welcome to my yearly Valentine’s Day post! I was thinking the other day (imagine that!) about how I’ve always loved heart shaped items – earrings, necklaces, heart shaped boxes, stuff like that. It just resonates with me and it wasn’t totally clear just why until recently. In my first aura reading with Rose, she pointed out that I totally live from my heart – something most people are unable to do without a lot of work. Given that so many people have commented to me that when I love someone, I love them FULLY, that made sense. It just dawned on me why I am so drawn to hearts. (DUH, hey?) They represent the very essence of who I am. I am someone who feels things very deeply (for better or worse) and can express that to others both in words and in actions. I consider that a true gift from God. I think there are few who can swing with the full force of my love so most people get what I feel they can handle. And that’s not a conscious measurement, either. It just seems to flow that way.
So, I really like Valentine’s Day because hearts are all around and that makes me feel joyful. Sort of like my own heart comes out to play and sees friends. (Is that very goofy? Yeah, I know)
Anyway, I am sending out a BIG blast of love (whether you can handle it or not!) to my friends and family. If I could draw you all into a collective hug, I surely would. Speaking of friends, I get to FINALLY meet my new friend Paul today! No snow or debilitating flu symptoms to get in the way. (that I know of, anyway). I shall report on the meeting forthwith.
(Please note that I was going to rant about work and about how I’ve totally had it with those freaking phones but that would just be a big bunch of yuck. And since what you think about expands (nods to Wayne Dyer), I choose to think about other stuff. Rest assured though, that this too shall pass and I will be back to my ranting and raving soon enough.)
I just like this song and it seems fitting for Valentine’s Day:
Our Love
(Doobie Brothers)
Day by day, I lost the words to say.
I try and speak, but the words won’t come.
You and I should take these wings and fly.
It’s time to ring every bell and beat on every drum.
‘Cause our love can take us where we’ve never been.
And our love can build this world again.
Build this world…
What we need is just a little love and we’ll succeed.
The time has come for everyone to know:
That you and I are all the reasons why,
we’ve got a song to sing and let our feelings show.
‘Cause our love can take us where we’ve never been.
And our love can build this world again.
Build this world…
‘Cause our love can take us where we’ve never been.
And our love can build this world again.
Build this world…
Day by day, I lost the words to say.
I try and speak, but the words won’t come.
So you and I should take these wings and fly.
It’s time to ring every bell and beat on every drum.
Tell the world about it.
Our love can take us where we’ve never been.
And our love can build this world again.
Build this world…
Our love can take us where we’ve never been.
And our love can build this world again.
Build this world…
Hey! Thanks for the hug! Saw your car at Shonna’s – you’ve been in my mind :) Sad news.. Gloria Halpern, Jeffery’s Mom, was killed in a terrible car accident over the weekend. She was in Florida taking care of her parents. I’m heartsick for Mel, Jeff, and the rest of the family. Please send some healing vibes out if you can. Moocho love. Kim
