Cheers to: Duty actually enjoying himself and doing a small happy birthday dance at the table when the waitstaff sang to him
Jeers to: That same Duty who wouldn’t play “word association” with me and La in the car on the way back. He said he was trying to pay attention to driving in the pouring rain. Ha! As if that’s a good excuse! hehe
Cheers to: The power of intention – way to go, angels! You never let me down. I focused all my energy on visualizing us zooming away from that traffic jam and durn it if (out of the blue) Duty realized where we were, found an exit to jump on and pull a U turn and within 5 minutes we were “zooming away” from the traffic jam.
Jeers to: Traffic in Northern VA – congestion 24/7 – where one accident can cause a huge ass backup even at 11pm. FEH. (I did say prayers for those involved in the accident, as I always do.)
Cheers to: New glasses – yes, progressive lenses but they are very cool and it looks like I’m not even wearing them.
Jeers to: The cost of said glasses. GOOD LORD. How did I end up making the decision to do this? I better put off lasik surgery until I get some use out of these things.
Cheers to: My coffee pot and cinnamon hazelnut coffee. MMMMM perfect for a rainy day

Cheers to: Duty on his 45th birthday. And apparently, the new tradition in Chez Snarky is to give ME a present on YOUR birthday! I rather like that! I suppose I should get him a card, though. hehe
Jeers:Duty being gone all weekend at his baseball fantasy league draft thingy with his baseball wife, Sal. Good thing I’m not the jealous type.
