So yeah, here’s the house, courtesy of the goddaughter of love who is almost never without a camera. She and her palm sized cam are one, I am beginning to think. I’m glad for that, though. Otherwise, I’d have nothing to show you!

Closing is June 3 so moving is like June 3rd and a half. :) I suppose I best start packing, eh?

When La and I were there on Thursday, we looked at each room and tried to envision what would go where. I need to call Godchild the younger (aka Christine) to help with colors and decorating. She’s quite the artsy type (which I am not). Check out La’s blog for proof!

Today is “give a month’s notice at work” day. I am both excited and a bit nervous since I did promise the manager when he re-hired me that I wouldn’t take off any time soon. I am trying to rationalize it by saying that I’m not leaving for another job. But even if he isn’t happy, one month from now, I will be done with current place of employ and very hopefully, the financial world in general. Seriously, I can no longer wrap my head around what would possess someone to call and waste my time and theirs because their stock quote is off five cents. That’s five cents y’all. Bloody hell. I have no money to speak of and even I don’t give a rat’s ass about five cents. And it’s not like this is what he paid for it. It’s a CHANGING figure that might have been off momentarily. I won’t miss that kind of BS at all.

On a synchronistic note, I wrote to the woo-woo store in Severna Park Friday wondering if they had any openings for part-time work and ‘lo and behold, they do! (I am totally not surprised. I loves me some universe workings.)

Thanks for you thoughts and interest in a part-time position at Tranquil Waters. It is apparent that our needs and your interest are synchronizing quite beautifully so let’s get together soon and get to know one another. Since this is a small operation, it is somewhat of a unique family setting and a mutually supportive environment which requires just the ‘right’ match. It’s quite possible that we may well be a ‘fit’ so I look forward to meeting and sorting that out. Please let me know your upcoming schedule so that we can coordinate a meeting in the near future to discuss things.

How lovely, isn’t it? I plan to just do some part time work at first and spend the summer lounging around the pool, talking walks to the beachy area with de dogg, riding my bike and pretending to be June Cleaver. Mind you, the June Cleaver part will get old about a week into this but it’s a new adventure and I am all about being open to new adventures.

It’s gonna be a fun summer! Who’s up for a pool party?
