That’s my new ghetto name, yo. “MissaWeesa” is how Emma (NG/CIA’s daughter and all of 4) pronounces Miss Lisa. heee! It’s rather cute, I think. She needs to start calling Duty “MistaWeesa” heheh but she can pronounce his real name so no Mr. Weesa for him. Damn.
I met Mrs. Neighbor Greg and she is actually pretty cool. I like her. Just a regular non-pretentious chick. We will be friends unless I find out out that she’s killed a man or voted for shrub or something heinous like that. We had a cookout at their house and had fun. Then they came over and we all got in the pool (and may I say BRRRR).
Today involved cleaning and just a bit of fun (Kmarts and a snowball!) I did tour the Annapolis mall last friday and on the way home speed dialed Dani by mistake. Surely, the universe wanted me to tell her something important (don’t forget Buffy V.1) to intervene in such a fashion.
Every Monday I vow to get in the flow and every Sunday I note that I am not at all in any kind of flow. Then I am sad. :( How many weeks have we been here now? Three? And no flow. What’s that about? I wander from room to room not finding a place that fits me (like Goldilocks and the Three Bears) “just right”. I know it takes time.
HEY! Charlie came over on Friday and it was soooooo great to see him! It’s been since our wedding almost five years ago that I last saw him and it was so nice to catch up and share the house (and pool) with him. He’s coming to the J4 Throwdown too so that will be cool. We’re going to have about 20 people here for fun, frolic, crabs and whatnot. I’ve never hosted a throwdown before. Will I survive the event? We shall see.
Off to work tomorrow.
A throwdown: term usually reserved for either a fight or verbal argument, a dispute or contention
2: a party, also known as a shindig, a social gathering especially for pleasure or amusement
