I love this day so much more than actual Christmas day. Why? Well, presents, food, family and presents. (and food, yo!) And of course, the cool, fun family that I love. So, to sum up: Holiday joy for Lisa = food, family and presents! (Are you catching the drift of what’s important in my life??)
Last year this time, things were so topsy-turvey so it’s nice that this year it’s quite smooth. I know where we’re going, what we’re doing and with whom we are doing it. So, YEY! What I find interestingly ironic (is that the right word, Alanis?) is the year that I am staying at home, ostensibly doing not much, is the year I am most behind on wrapping and whatnot. How odd is that? I still haven’t wrapped 2/3rds of my presents and yet here I sit, blogging away. Ah! Such is my life. I’d say blogging is more fun, but that’s not totally true. I like wrapping presents. I put on my christmas tunes and sit on the floor amidst paper, tape, boxes and Midjull stepping all over aforementioned items, happily wrapping away. So, I suppose I should get a move on doing that as we are set to leave in T minus 4 hours and counting.
Here’s wishing all reading my blog (yes, that’s GOL, Mark, Hockey Kim, TWINNIE!!!, HappyandBlue2, the occasional drop in by ABB and my biggest blog fan, Uncle Charlie) a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope Santa treats you all well since you are all blessings in my life. Actually, I wish all who visit here love, blessings and good health at this joyous time of the year.
Okay, wrapping (rapping??) awaits!
Peace out.
(On edit: Twinnie, I’m sooo sorry I forgot you! But I was a good jojo and added you immediately! Much love!)
