In my last post I mentioned that I was going to teach GOL the fine art of preparing for barfing rather than spontaneously running out of class and barging in to unlocked stalls or worse yet, stalls where those before you (coughboyscough) didn’t bother flushing their business. And so I did! YEY for planning. Having waited until a wave of nausea passed before we got into the car for the ride back to her dorm, GOL did well (although we did have the bucket handy). Once we got back in her room however, it overtook her. She was trying to wait it out but in my infinite wisdom (ha!), I said “you may as well get it over with now since you know it’s gonna happen”. And as it happens, her room is opposite the bathroom so it worked out fine. See? Planning is key. Not fun, but key.
We did have a nice afternoon prior to that, though. Sat out in the sun (it was like 60 degrees in January!! Global warming is a’coming), went clothes shopping and watched “Ali G” (she did laugh and admitted it was funny so all is forgiven with the “Wedding Crashers” display of poor taste in movies). It was nice to spend time with her. We always have fun (even if it involves the aforementioned barfing).
I loves ya, babygirl.
