My sister-in-law Becky has created a really lovely blog right here and I am so thrilled!! I have been a blog mommy for a few and now it’s spread to the Duty side of the family!! :) So, please take a moment to go over there and say hi to the SIL of love!
Tomorrow is the Relay for Life event in Charlottesville. Unfortunately, the weather looks like it’s going to be a pain in the ass and spoil it all. I’d like to say I’m a trooper but we all know differently, don’t we? (wink wink) Strong storms are predicted and sitting out in a field in one of them is not my favorite thing to do and I know La would be sad if I got hit by lightening. We plan to play it by ear and see what happens. I haven’t written a whole lot yet of my little speech but I have the gist of it in my head. I will post it here when I finish it. I’m excited that Duty comes home today – even if it’s just for two days. Wheeee!! The cats and Mr. Dog have kept me company, though, and I’m glad for that.
Thanks to all the sweeties who left comments on my last post. I will post elab on my path maybe this weekend (ha! like you are all waiting with bated breath, I know!) but I am so excited to finally be moving on this dream of teaching, writing and healing (via Reiki and other stuff). Regina is an amazing woman and we really vibe perfectly together. Let this be a lesson to everyone – seriously, just ASK the Uni (God, Godess, Holy Spirit – whomever you want) to help you and open the doors that need opening. Let them know that you WILL see it if they put it in front of you. I promise that it will bring you what you wish for and faster than you know it. You just have to ask. That’s it! (Oh, and pay attention too!)
Have a lovely Friday!
Have you read the book, Eat Pray Love: One Woman’s Quest for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia by Elizabeth Gilbert? It’s a true story about a woman who took off a year to go on a spiritual quest – I just started reading it but it made me think of you – I think you’d like it.
I’ll do my rain go away dance tonight if it helps. We always told the students to wear their pajamas backwards to get a snow day – wonder if it works on rain too??
