I mentioned it a couple weeks ago and figured now was a good time to talk about it in some detail. And while I’m at it, as part of a “Portal of Deeper Perception” Rose Rosetree has assembled, I’ve set up a blog to discuss just this kind of thing. It’s turning into a lovely site and I hope you will check it out periodically. I may cross post the same entries here from time to time but Snarkypants continues to be the home of Snark, Love and Political Rantings while A Healing Path will focus on my spiritual seeker side only.
I’ve always wanted to be a therapist or social worker or in some position where I could help others in a fashion. But life didn’t take me along that path although I did use my healing skills to pull the brokers in off the ledge when the stock market would go all to hell. It wasn’t until the proverbial “dark night of the soul” in 2002 that I really sort of understood where I was meant to go. And basically, I followed my gut instincts and took classes in things that resonated with me – workshops on chakra teachings, studied aura reading, healing with deeper perception, coaching and many other things. Once I was able to tune into my guides (smiles at my best buddy Vywamus) and truly listen to their messages, I began moving more swiftly down a path I was destined to be on from the very beginning.
My plan is to fully move into my role as healing facilitator using Reiki, spirit guidance, energy healing and many other modalities. I am always learning and refining what I know and integrating it into my being, for lessons of my own and also to assist others. It is when doing this kind of work I am most “in my flow” and feel as if I am doing what I am here to do. I have been working with Regina, as I mentioned, to hone my skills in Reiki and spiritual counseling so that I can become a practitioner for her holistic healing center when it opens in the next year. And am thrilled to have this opportunity but not surprised because I asked for it and when I was ready for that step, it appeared. That’s how it works, y’all!
