2500 and how many more?
Political

What will it take to make others understand that we must start bringing our troops home NOW? We were lied to about why we were there in the first place, they continue to lie to us about how things are going there and Halliburton’s stock triples its revenue in the past four years. Think that’s just a coincidence? Think again, my friends.

All those American and Iraqi lives lost and for what? Freedom? Securing our nation from terrorists? Things are worse both here AND there now. I am not advocating the “cut and run” ideology incorrectly associated with us “big bad lib’ruls”. We made a big ass mess there (thanks to you know who and friends) and we need to help put things right (if that can ever really be done). But I do advocate a clearly laid out and agreed upon timetable for US troop withdrawal from Iraq.

I’ve added the dove banner to my sidebar because I truly do support and appreciate the work our troops are doing. God bless them all because they’ve been given a very difficult assignment and have done it to the best of their abilities. It is time to bring them home. And that is the best way *I* know to support them.

Please write your congressperson and ask them to consider joining the chorus of voices trying so desperately to put an end this horrific mess we are mired in.

Bring our men and women in the armed forces home to their families NOW.

I have really come to enjoy quiet moment… cherish them. I have spent most of my life working and running in circles. The Frank-man only has one month left of Army Reserves weekends. I want to know if I can send him to your house once a month from now on!
