First, thanks to those visitors from TT who left me nice comments about this week’s entry. I am not a big fan of the simple “13 things sitting on my desk” kind of posts so if you ever do see one of those here, you can be sure some alien has taken the helm of this here blog. Some people are really creative in their entries and I love reading those. Plus, I like visiting other sites and drooling at how nicely they are laid out (damn them).
Second, I am officially pathetic. I’ve discovered these goofy “blinky” things and spent the better part of an hour and a half last night surfing around looking for cool ones. This one is by far my favorite and I think I may even add it to the sidebar: . Tee hee. I found it here with a bunch of other snarky ones. I did find a nice one with an angel on it that I added to the side bar above the link for Lauren’s blog. (Fitting, yes?). So, yeah. Blinky-mania exists!
Third, the weather is lovely today. YEY! No more rain! I get to visit beautiful downtown Easton to interview for a volunteer position in the Reiki hospital project at Shore Health System. I’m looking forward to doing this both to be of service to others and to get some practice at channeling the energies. Tomorrow is part 2 of a class (I missed part 1 to host(ess) the J4 Throwdown) with Regina called “The Healer Within: Intuitive Development 101”. I am learning to be more selective in choosing classes now and what my intention is in taking them. I had an experience with something that called to mind what intention I had going into it and what my responsibility was afterwards. It reminded me that I am no longer a “neophyte”, that I do have skills and abilities and with them come responsibilities. So, discernment is key at this juncture.
Anyway, must go shower since being skeevy is so not a good quality to present in a hospital environment, eh?
TGIF, y’all!
If your still snarking around for blinkies I have made some! You are more than welcome to any you might like! My Blinkies
Good luck with the interview!
I like your blinkies and esp the one of the piping hot coffee.
I like the more creative TT’s as well – I haven’t really had thought-provoking ones recently, and I didn’t feel that posting a silly one would really contribute much in the way of blogging. The ones that make you go, “Hmmm…” are the ones that really add to my quality of life – yours definitely do that for me, BTW.
TGIF!

Good Luck w. the interview.
I take a great deal of care when I want to do a class. Who is it with? What is the goal and of course INTENTION. Where are we without good intentions.
I would love to do a astrology reading for you. It probably won’t be right away. I still have so much to learn. Email me your birth date: time, date and place. I will get to you as soon as I can…. But, we have similar interests so I can’t wait to see your chart.
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!
