Keep Mom in your thoughts and prayers, please
Suckage

Looks like she’s taken a turn for the worse and it’s just a matter of time for her now. I’d say that my mom’s life has been a hard one (some of her own making, some not) and it is my fervent wish that this time of transition is a peaceful one for her. Duty and I visited last night and she knows we’re there and communicates just a bit but mostly it takes a lot of effort for her to swim up through the haze.

We’re going back there today and tomorrow just to be there and hold her hand or do for her whatever she needs.

More as I can and have time. (I’m fighting a cold and am having my own thanksgiving for the blessed relief of Nyquil!)

I hope you don’t mind me posting this, but with all the “suckage” you’ve had this year, well, anyway…

I maintian our church’s site and I went in today to change some things and I went to daily devotions and this is what was there for today:

    Today’s Promise:
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
    Revelation 21:4 / KJV

LIsa you’re in my thoughts as you go through this hard time. You know the Universe must know how strong you are or it wouldn’t keep throwing things at you!

Lisa, I am sorry to hear about your Mom. She will certainly be in my thoughts and if her time is near, I hope she goes quickly and in minimum pain. As you know it is tough losing a parent. Keep the phone number of a good therapist handy, and I can certainly help you too!
