Midgie is still holding his own and I’m giving him bits of food as I can. The docs have given him some prednisone and some antibiotics and he’s hanging in there, bless his bitty heart. Thanks again for all the luvies and sympathy. And Twinnie, your sweet compassionate comment makes me cry each time I read it.

Nothing too fun or exciting to report. I will comment, however, that I am happy to see all the idjits around the nation wake up and catch a clue (7 years too late but whatever) about Darth Cheney and his shadow presidency. Is there one among you who truly thought Dubs was running the show? Puuuuh-lease. I am so not politically astute and this was obvious to me like the biggest dog ever way back when. It will be interesting to watch it play out now that it’s not politically expedient to have a lame duck tanking the party. We shall see.
