As I’m writing this, idiots in the neighboring house are (of all things) playing bagpipes. Just now, they played the theme from “Star Wars”. Isn’t that fun? Yeah. Thankfully, whoever is playing it is not hideous but random tootings on a bagpipe at 9pm does not make for a peaceful evening. I think I’m going to have to repair to the room of solitude (and no bagpipes) if I am to retain what’s left of my sanity. (Now, they’re playing “Amazing Grace” and shooting off fireworks.)
So, we have a canine visitor – Mrs. Tool Time’s doggie Raven (who looks like a little rat dog but is sweet as can be). Currently, her ears are being assaulted by the fireworks (and probably the bagpipes too!) She’s a tad hyper still and loves Max like he’s her older brother, following him all over the yard. She even imitated him peeing with his leg all cocked last night. It was the funniest sight! She will be with us for the week and is happily running in and out of the house at will. Expect pics tomorrow.
Buddy! Your blog has not been givin’ me the love lately! It freezes when I load! So Im trying to remember all my answers in one. My heart has been with you and kitty! Who knew bagpipes were the new garage band instrument of choice? Love the doggie!
