I love the perspective of this blog called “Helping Keep the Grain Plentiful” – it’s written from the view of a kitty cat!
Here’s how they describe the blog:
You’ll be getting a fun-filled cat’s eye view of STAR – profiles of the equine therapists, vignettes about barn life, notes on the importance of therapeutic riding lessons, and a day in the life of a barn kitty. After all, even though the barn kitties do their job behind the scenes, they have one of the most important jobs in the stable – making sure there’s plenty of grain for the four-legged therapists at STAR.
What a cool thing, don’t you think? I bet Lucie (my kitty) would love that life. She’s very social and would be a great friend to the horses. But we would have found the me-midjulls hiding in the back waiting until no one’s looking and then making a break for the food. LOL Not everyone is meant to be a barn kitty!
Check them out and maybe throw a couple bucks their way. Remember, you’re only pledging now – you don’t need to cough it up until you can. :)
How are ya doing? Still feeling energized?
