We’ve told you a bit about the kind of work ChemoAngels does. It’s all on a volunteer basis and people just like me commit to sending cards and/or gifts to a designated chemobuddy each week for a specific duration. I thought I would post an email that the ChemoAngels administration got from a chemobuddy. I see letters like this all the time on the list and it really speaks to the good energy and love ChemoAngels shares with others.
If you know someone who is undergoing chemo, I encourage you to go to the ChemoAngels site and check it out. And if you are so moved, perhaps become one yourself. It takes just a little bit of time and if you make cards (stamping or scrapbooking), it’s a great creative outlet too!
I want to thank all of the wonderful Chemo Angels who sent me the most
beautiful birthday cards. What an incredible surprise it was to receive so
many cards from so many Chemo Angels from across the globe. I am used to
getting cards from my two special Angels, Rita and Antoinette, who I love
dearly and who have truly become apart of my family but I was amazed to get
so many cards from Angels that are members of this organization and who I
know are busy Angeling personally to others. The cards were simply gorgeous
and so full of love, support and well wishes. I can’t even find the words to
express how much this meant to me and how special it made my birthday. This
program has been such a blessing, it has brought rays of sunshine through
the many dark clouds that over shadow my daily life. You all are truly
Angels here on earth and I love each and every one of you with all of my
heart. I wish all of you much love, happiness and blessings. Once again,
thank you so much Angels.
