My family knows me well and I was gifted many angel items this year. :) That makes my heart happy. Cousin O’Love even found angels with swirlies on them! YEY!
We had a very fun and loving Christmas Eve with the surprise arrival of my own Godmommy O’Love (Thank you, Priscilla!) We got home late and then opened our own presents to each other (Pretty swirly earrings, Starbucks gift card and a beautiful angel statue from Mr. Duty) and finally, 1:30am, I fell into bed. Whee!
Today was a whirlwind of in-law visits, sisters, brothers in emergency rooms, the sweet Aunt Nellie and then Dad’s for dinner. I’ll give the in-laws this: they don’t spend a lot of time just hanging around like the Italians in the family I come from do. It’s in and out, do your business, chat a bit and then move on to the next place. Interesting way to do it. Works for me (most of the time and those closest to me will understand this cryptic message) and made the day zoom by. I am oh-so-happy to be sitting my ass on the couch, purring cats and angels (literal and figurative, of course) here with me. (Ten bucks says Duty is now asleep on the couch in front of the tv!)
Hope everyone had a luffly holiday!
~~ have a great year coming up, and may your choices lead you to living those great moments~~
