RE: the Iowa caucus
Bottom line: People have had it. Iowa will go blue (Happy Blue Year, Hawkeyes!). Whomever your candidate is on the Dem side, this was a good night. Get some sleep. The Republicans won’t go down without a fight. Look what happened when Kerry tried to play nice. So Barack, you can talk all you want about “let’s put the partisanship aside, let’s all get along,” but the other side has no intention of being anything but the bullies they are. Get your game face on now. And, if you can, tell me why you are now the second largest recipient of health industry payola after Hillary. You now take more money from the people committed to stopping universal health care than any of the Republican candidates.
YEY for Edwards making a strong, strong showing. I’d be proud and happy to have either Obama or Edwards as our leader in 2009.

I am an Edwards fan. I saw a bumper sticker that summed it up nicely: “I want a smart president this time.” I’m not picky; if the dems pick someone else in the primary, I will back what ever horse they send to the race. All three of the front-runners will be a night and day improvement over the lying war-monger corporate goon we have now.

I just posted on Obama. Turns out my position on the major political issues falls right in the middle of Obama and Edwards. Pity I’m not able to vote in your elections.

What about stopping the federal reserve? Ron Paul is the obvious choice for freedom. Do some reading and you’ll see that the Fed is a private bank that takes federal income tax for no reason. Seriously, Ron Paul is the only freedom fighter on the ballot. Read and you will see.
