Well bleah. That’s all I have to say about it. (No, it’s not. You know me. I never run out of whining and complaining, do I?) I’m over that job, I think. Yet, I am thankful to even have one, given how this dumbass economy keeps flying into the crapper at warp speed.
Lori and I have spent the week doing twelve million intuitive readings (okay, not that many but really close) and I realized that I could do readings all damn day and be happy as a clam. I’m always fascinated by what comes through for each person – and then comparing what I get with what Lori gets. Her messages are very focused on the here and now such as “take more vitamins” or “what’s going on with your lungs?” – stuff like that. Mine are much more big picture – whether you are on track for your work in this incarnation, or where your relationship with Mr. Perfect is going (or not, as the case may be). Many times, Lori and I are on the same wavelength with a couple exceptions where we totally got divergent messages. I interpreted that to mean that either decision would bring the outcome for the person’s highest good and each had consequences to address. It was a matter of which resonated more with this individual.
We got lots of good feedback from those who shared with us. One woman offered to exchange something from her energetic toolbox for us – doing meridian and chakra clearings. Cool! Sounds good to me. :) We have about 8-10 left to do and that won’t take too long. What takes a while is sending the email with both readings and tracking any follow-up questions and all. But at least if I’m hanging out at my computer in the evening, I’m doing something worthwhile instead of surfing and spacing.
In other news, Duty is really doing beautifully on his new eating / exercise plan. He has such discipline and I’m so proud of him to just pull his shit together and focus. YEY for my Duty! Woot Woot!
OH! And Cookie’s cd debuts Tuesday! I’ve heard it and it’s quite, quite good. Here’s a pretty picture to remind you of the Summer of Cookies and song.
Well, let’s look at the bright side — you know what makes you happy as a clam, and that’s important. So many haven’t got a clue about what they’d rather be doing.
I went by my local FYE store and saw a poster for Archie’s new CD. Do you think The Two Davids will forever be linked in our minds and in our retail outlets?
