YEY for Fridays!! I am counting the hours although not sure why. It’s not like I do anything strenuous at work or something. I think I am chafing at having to be someplace when I’d rather be someplace else. Of course, most people would rather be someplace else than at work, I suppose.
Finished book 2 of the Twilight series – Bella is still a dumbass and I don’t feeeeeel the lurve she and Edward have for each other. It’s like they are behind curtains and I can’t see through clearly. Is it like that with all doomed Vampire love? On to book 3 tonight.
No plans at all for the weekend – no trips to take, no birthday cake to eat (dag!), no nothing. Ah! A breather.
Enjoy your day, all.
Twinnie:
I must concur with Molly … hang in there and finish them all. I loved Book 1 and 4 the best, hated book two and was so so with three. But keep going! Book 4 was edge of your seat, it all comes together and is sweet beyond explanation. I actually grieved when it was all over.
I will tell you that the Alice character always made me think of you!!! Amazingly sentient, tons of fun … perfectly cast as you!
My next book is Pat Conroy’s new novel so I will definitely be needing counseling when that is done! His writing is so incredibly beautiful but he writes about people so fucked up as to cause his readers to need to up their meds!
Love you!
Cathy
I just finished that whole series and must say I enjoyed it… all the way through book 4, which might have been my favorite.
I love kitties.
NO PLANS?! As if Sunday’s reunion with Don Draper isn’t worth planning for?
My cat Reynaldo is often called, “The Amazing Cat with No Spine.” I’m not going to show him he’s not the only one.
