Duty has gone on a business trip to South Carolina for several weeks and it’s just me and the cats and Max here. Â (throws confetti) Â I don’t mind living with Duty, of course, but I do loves me some alone time. Â He and I have, shall we say, different ways of doing things. Â He prefers doing them “right now before (I) forget it” whereas I am more of a “I’ll get to it when I finish reading whatever website I happen to be surfing around on … or, like, later”. Â That seems to frustrate him and his 20 years of military training. Â I’m sure if I had that, perhaps I’d be dead or insane dutiful also.
So, this is a nice break for him because everything is  done on his timetable with the added bonus of no pets.  And a nice break for me because I’m not feeling guilty about all the stuff I ain’t doing. Surprisingly enough, things do get done.  In Lisa time.  Max and the cats don’t overly mind Lisa time.  At least Max and Lucie are well used to it having been with me for many, many years. We’re all good here.  And enjoying the quietude.

The CarPooler:
And I must admit – I too do enjoy the ride in by myself (only for awhile though)! I especially enjoy the no flicking of the high-beams because someone didn’t put their turn signal on. When will one learn – “You can’t change the other person!”
Enjoy your time.

HHHHOOOONNNKKK! My post today is about how I think I’m really well-suited to a life as a crazy cat lady, so we’re tracking. And I’m glad you and Max seem to be tracking a bit better, too.
