Hello peeps!
So here’s what’s on tap for the coming few days:
1. Taking Andrea’s “Channel your Truth” course and the homework for the first week is to stop the flow of information IN about whatever topic it is that you crave. UGH. For me, that’s all about how to create a business in a heart-centered way that is true to who I am. I live, eat and breathe it. I understand her point about not being able to hear your own ideas and opinions if you are fed a steady diet of someone else’s. I *get* it. I just don’t *like* it. She channels all her courses and info this way and I want to be able to create things like that as well so may as well give it a shot. Just for the record, I did not give up my “Sarah Palin Gossip” addiction (you’d think I was an Alaska resident myself with all I know about it) nor my political news addiction either. Surely, that’s not in my way, is it? is it?
2. This weekend is as good a time as any to step away from the information overload because Duty and I will be up to our ears with kidlet stuff. Yes, we are braving the parental waters and spending the weekend babysitting full time. We are hoping not to break Cousin O’Cool’s kids for good. I’m quite sure that this will make for some really good blogging stories – much like Tour of Duty. This one will probably be called “Tour of Doodie” heheh (I crack myself up!)
Wish us luck – we are going to need it. For reals.
I will have my laptop but am not sure how much time I’ll have on it. I’ll be keeping track of our parental faux pas in my head though so you’re sure to hear all about them.

I cannot wait to hear all the ins and "outs" of your parenting weekend! I wish I could be a fly on that wall or walls…

I loved this post, because it encapsulates EXACTLY how I feel after a prolonged period with my nephew (or niece, when she was younger). Parents don't realize how much stamina they have!
