Some days, this is about my speed. Today is one of those days. I haz foots. I used my foots to get to work and get home. Foots rock. No lie.
Went to see Duty’s great aunt Nellie on Sunday. I’ve mentioned her before, I’m sure, but she is 92 and is now in a nursing home for the foreseeable future. She was living on her own with help during the day but since she fell, it’s been in her best interest to have 24/7 care. She has no children and her husband passed away a long while ago so she has only her niece to care for her. Duty and I got attached to AN a while ago and being with her is like being in a big ray of sunshine – it warms me up completely. When I leave, I don’t know who feels better – me or her. We love each other completely.
She seemed sad to be in the nursing home (can’t blame her) so Duty and I agreed that we would go visit her every weekend. It’s just an hourish away and I think she’d welcome the visits. I don’t know how long she will be around (her health, in general, is quite good but she frets about her memory going) and I feel like she’s getting ready to head out at some point. So, I want to pour *BIG LOVE* on her now.
(Not sure why I wrote all that.)
So yeah. Foots.
Hi Lisa! Long time no hear from. Feets are cool, I'm glad I still have feets. Nothing much else is left, but I gots them. Hope all is well for you.
There is nothing so wonderful as sending an old, loving soul off to new life. You go.

Be sure to show Aunt Nellie those feetz. If that doesn't cheer her up, nothing will! And pouring love on her is probably the best medicine she can have.
