Officially down *8* pounds in as many days! Woot!
Friday night I had some scallops (in butter apparently) and the tum did not like that! Yikes. The scallops were fine but I think the butter just didn’t sit well.
Most days I eat chicken, eggs and veggies. Sometimes carrots, raisins and other nibblies. Salad, also too. I find that I have very few cravings – amazing since I’ve given up sugar entirely (and all artificial variants thereof), grains and dairy. I have found a couple substitutes (coconut milk in tea is bearable but I do miss my Sweet&Low) but have radically changed what I eat. And it shows. My goal is 25 pounds down by my birthday (one month +3 days away). I think I’ll get there before that. :) Yes, I’m an optimist.
The only thing I can see adding back in after this 30 day period is over might be cream for my coffee. Otherwise, I’ll keep going. I doubt I’ll be running in marathons like my wondrous Cousin O’Cool, but I think I’ll be in much better shape overall. Might even be able to walk in the “Race for Hope” with my beloved Cookie next May.
So, there’s your update! I’ll keep you posted on the big milestones. (Duty’s lost 10 with no exercise and half-ass compliance. Men. I hate them all.)
