Dear Jodi,
Thank you for your kind words inquiring as to when a new post would appear. As you can see, your wish has now come true. Isn’t it wonderful? Just as you knew it always would be! (heh)

Hi everyone! Have you have been wondering “where the hell is Lisa?” (What? You haven’t? Please to pretend you have, mmkay? I can’t bear the thought that only Jodi missed me.)
As the full-time mom to a puppy, I have had my hands full with little man. Parents: do you feel like the only words you ever say are: NO! STOP! PUT THAT DOWN!? – He is such a lovey little dope but he sure gets into things if you aren’t watching him all the time. We bought him a little pen and he spends time in that when I’m trying to do work. All his toys and chewies are in there and right now, he’s tuckered out from a visit to the dog park. Thank God and all my angels for that dog park! He runs and runs and runs, keeping up with (and sometimes running faster than) the greyhounds who visit. It’s a nice place and I like going there and (gasp) socializing with the other dog peeps.
Just got back from a weekend seminar in Arizona (and it was 111 degrees the day I landed. What the ever-living fuck is that??? And don’t tell me “well, it’s a dry heat”, either. It’s HEAT HEAT and it was freaking hot! I barely went out of the hotel.) and had a good time. It was nice to meet people I knew online and, of course, meeting Andrrea herself was a real treat. (She said I am “too cute in person” and girl, you know it’s true! hehe) Traveling economy is such fun (aack). I’m going to have to up-level my life enough that I can travel first class (or whatever the next step up is) because I feel all trapped and claustrophobic in there – like sardines in a can. Plus, Duty got me seats in the damn last row of the plane and I cannot – CANNOT – stand the wait at the end when everyone is taking their sweet old time getting down their luggage. I almost killed four people (in my head, anyway) because they took too long moving.
I’ll talk more about how the High Priestess came out at the seminar – but wanted to make Jodi happy and post something! :)
Welcome back to the Blogosphere! Your trip sounds great.
I don’t do heat well at all, either. Gimme 10″ of snow and 28º over anything over 85º. You know where I belong? Somewhere where it never rains till after sundown, and by eight the morning fog must disappear. Where winter is forbidden until September, and exits March the 2 on the dot. You know, Camelot. Unless we’re there, I guess, we all have to muddle through the less than perfect conditions, wherever we are, huh?
I’m glad you and Brogan are making peace. I hope you and the other fur parents enjoy comparing notes.
Jodi, so happy that I brought you joy! :) Also too: linky link to hire moi for all your woo-woo needs: http://practicallyintuitive.com/sessions.php
I am SO HAPPY!
Thank you, Lisa (plus, I enjoyed the podcast today, but when I went to your website to try and figure out how much it would cost to HIRE YOU, I couldn’t find nuthin’ — god, I am so demanding, aren’t I?)
