Day 9: How important do you think Education is?
While I believe a good foundation (i.e.: 1st-12th grades) is very, very important, I am not one who thinks sinking a buttload of money into college and going deeply into debt is a worthwhile endeavor. It breaks my heart to see people coming out of 4 years (or more) with debt up to their ears. What a way to start out!
Is a college education worthwhile? Sure it is for many reasons that I needn’t spell out because you know them. The issue I have with it is the debt one takes on to get that education. I’d like to see costs come back in line and that everyone who wants that education has access to it. “You may say I’m a dreamer….” but this is how I feel.
Day 10: Put your music player on shuffle and list the first ten songs that play

Turning Tables / Adele
Come on get higher / Matt Nathanson
Everywhere with you / Michelle Branch
Christmas time is here / Mercy Me
The World I know / David Cook
(That wasn’t too embarrassing! No Partridge Family showed up or anything!)
Day 11: Your Family
This is a rather open-ended question, yes? I grew up with my girl cousins close in age to me – felt like they were my sisters. Being an only child, I had sort of the best of both worlds – my parents undivided attention AND fun kids to hang out with.
Even though the family has sort of split off into factions now and we’re all not as close as we were when our mothers were alive, I still feel like I have sisters. For that experience, I am thankful. We have our traditions (cookie baking at Christmas being the best one) and I count on them as mainstays in my life.
