Ah! April! How I love the spring! Finally, there’s some sun and that makes this girl happy.
Also too: pink glitter nail polish FTW. I am bringing the pretty back into my life. (Thank you, Monarch Workshop for waking that part of me up! – More pretty pictures here)
That means getting rid of what doesn’t make me happy, doing a lot of energetic clearing + in person clearing to release a bunch of stuff (clothes, knick-knacks, shoes) – it all has to get out of my house. NOW.
Also Also too: getting rid of the judgment around stuff and people. Whenever I scroll through the bane of my existence (FB) and my eyes roll so far they fall out the back of my head, I do the clearing statement all over that and POOF! It’s like the crappy, pissy part of me floats away on the wind.
(POD/POC is part of the clearing statement and you can use it in place of the longer version. Duty and I laugh because when we get snarky with each other, I wave my magic wand and say “POD POC!” – he wants to call it COP/DOP because he’s just gotta be different, yanno?)
David Sedaris
This week we’re going to see the wonderfully strange writer David Sedaris and I’m so excited! He’s one of my all time favorites and I introduced him to Lauren and she took to him immediately. (Of course, right?) He never fails to make me laugh and/or think.
Baby Holding!
How cute is sweet BillyHank? (Given name: William Henry)
He’s so damn adorable with that wee bow tie!
Hopefully, we’ll get some baby-holding time in next week when we visit.
No need for POD/POCing there! Just tons of joy.
I love BillyHank! His hair!! So much of it. And the bow tie! Oh, there’s just so much to love and gush about. My sister, the new grandmother, sent me the cutest video of baby Eli (a week old) cooing and then farting a huge fart that scared him. I thought–look out world!
