I’m using the way-back machine

… and catapulting myself back 3 1/2 months back in time. Yes, friends and family and other interested bystanders, I am going back to the old place of employ starting Monday. Doing something different this time (well, sorta different) but am very, VERY glad to be back in the land of IMs, jeans and friends.

Currently, I am enjoying a mini-vacation. Today, I had a bagel, drank a lot of coffee, ran errands, made chili, meditated, goofed around online, read some blogs and napped (sorta briefly during the meditation – hee!) So, a nice day overall.

Tomorrow, more of the same. I might bop by new POE and drop off paperwork and say hi to everyone. We’ll see.

You know that saying “You don’t know what you got ’til it’s gone …” ? It’s true for sure. I return appreciating the freedom I left and the “hands off” approach to business model. Jimmy D tells me that the mood is much improved there (after I left? Hmmm. Wonder what that means? hehe) and it’s a more optomistic place to be. Works for me.

I’m free – to do what I want – any old time

I have officially resigned from (ex)current place of employ! And I cannot tell you how good it felt to leave. Amazingly awesome!!! If I could have danced down Fairfax County Parkway home, believe me I would have!

Whatever lesson I was there to learn, I sure hope I got it right this time.

Ever onward. Off the rest of my birthday week so 4 days of doing whatever I feel like. WHEEEE.

That’s about it for now. More later but I wanted to share the news.

Interesting Sychronicity

I don’t know if I mentioned the ducks and geese that reside out by the lake near current place of employ but for most of the summer, they have been my buddies. I’d sit outside near the water and watch them frolic and play and honk and squeak. They were company for me when I didn’t have any and I looked forward to sitting outside.

Since it’s grown a tad colder, I haven’t been sitting outside as much but still look at the ducks and geese through the many picture windows surrounding our building.

I find it an interesting synchronicity that as I am set to take my leave from CPOE, the ducks and geese have been relocated to another pond. They sent a memo out letting us know that the powers that be decided to move the birds to a different body of water since they were a bit too raucous for the area. Duck poo and the occasional sqawking aside, I rather liked them but that’s just me.

And so, the only other thing I liked at CPOE has been moved away and I found the timing of it to be very interesting. As well as this other event: I loaned my woo-woo buddy a couple books a month or so ago and hadn’t seen them back. I didn’t want to tip my hand by asking for them back and so the other night I decided that I would just leave and let her have the books. Today, out of the blue, she came over and gave me the books back (without my asking for them) and I had to laugh. That dag Universe – it always knows how to make me smile. Thus, all ties I have had with this CPOE are more or less severed (well, not officially. Just waiting on a few more bits of info to be nailed down.)

I just thought it was interesting that it all comes full circle.

Random Thoughts

May today there be peace within. May you trust your highest
power that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May
you not forget the Infinite possibilities that are born of
faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on
the love that has been given to you….

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into our bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of you.

As I was taking the Psychic Development class with Pastor Brown, he was reviewing my particular spirit guides. Amazingly, he mentioned Vywamus (and you all SHOULD know who Vy is by now!) as the ascended master I have been working with (I was stunned, truly, since Vywamus is NOT a name you pull out of your, uh, hat!). He also mentioned that St. Theresa is around me a lot but didn’t go into what capacity. I’ve been doing some reading about her to learn more. I was particularly struck by the line in the prayer that reads thusly:

May you trust your highest power that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

I have read that line many times before and always felt that it hit home with me. Ironic, then, that it should be from St. Theresa. (Just sayin’)

To those who have sent me a question to send out to the Universe, thank you. I am working through them bit by bit. I don’t always understand the info I get and I am learning to ask more about it when I don’t quite get it. So, it’s a matter of practice. Speaking of which, ever heard of automatic writing?

Automatic writing is the process of allowing Spirit Guides or Higher Self to use your hand and arm, while in an altered state of consciousness, to write answers to your questions. With a little practice anyone can do it and it is a valuable source of information on your spiritual journey. It is important to know who you want to write with before you begin. Put the name of the guide or higher self on the top of the paper as well as the questions you want answered. They may not always get to all of your questions in one session. At times, they may bypass all your questions if they feel there is something more important you need to know. Everyone has one life guide. You choose them before birth, and they are with you until death. This is your primary guide or life guide. This is the guide you want to contact. If you have any other guides this guide will introduce them, and explain who they are, and why they are with you. You can always write with higher self. If you begin writing with your life guide, it will only be a matter of time before he or she will suggest that you write with higher self as well. Often higher self and your guide or guides will all write in one session.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. Woo-Woo-ville, first stop. :) But I tried it last night after I did a meditation and it was sooooo cool. As fast as the thoughts came into my head, I wrote them down and it turned out to be from Vywamus (who else, right?) and was very interesting. I started writing about how lonely and isolated I felt at (current place of employ) and I stopped what I was writing and said “Okay, Vy. Take it away” and he did! Should I post it? I think I will posit a question to the Archangels and/or Ascended Masters each night and see what they have to say.

I love all this stuff. It’s so new to me and I love being able to see for myself how it flows and moves. I’m pretty sure Cousin ‘O Love (Mary) expects to see me ride in on a broomstick any time now but I assure you, it’s all God and Spirit based. I’m not a pagan or a vegan or anything else ending in -an! :) It’s just something I always knew how to do but couldn’t quite harness ’til now.

Yes, I surely do know ways to keep myself amused, do I not?
