Happy Clappy Saturday

Okay, whining over. Back to the happy!

I’m combining Friday and Saturday into one post because I can (and it makes me happy!).

SophiaCat has been feeling so. much. better now that her thyroid is regulated. She’s gaining weight and is really back to her old self again. She hangs out with us downstairs a lot more and comes for lovies (snuggles and whatnot) more often too.

Each pet has meds to administer (Max has heart meds, Lucie has antibiotics for her dermatits and Sophie has her thyroid meds) but I do it with love because my pets are my babies.

Always have been, always will be.

I’m HAPPY that she’s feeling better. (I think I am energetically linked to her because when she was feeling bad, it sent me into a tailspin in a way it hasn’t with my other fur babies. I am sooo a cat person.)

Dear Everyone,

This having to write about happy things is wearing me out! I just realized I have gone three days of blogging without whining or complaining. (Departs, as usual, for the fainting couch.) You know it’s killing me, right?

Okay then.

Duty got Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust pizza for dinner and even though I only got two pieces, it was mmmm-good. Well, the crust was. The actual ‘za of it? Meh. But I loves me some stuffed crusts.

That’s all I can rally up for happy today.

Been exhausted for the past two days. Not sure what’s up with that. I came home, ate my crusts, crawled under my special blankey and watched Eli Stone on Netflix for about an hour. Think I’ll be going to bed soon.

(Do try to keep up with this fast paced life, won’t you?)

Happiness Project – Day 3

This picture of Cousin O’Cool and her boyz makes me very, very happy. Just look at Luke’s face (he’s the older boy on the right) – it’s so funny! Like he’s sucking on lemons or puzzling out some conundrum. Peter (up on Husband O’Cool’s shoulders) is playing with his mom’s preeeety hair while she giggles.

This is one of my favorite pictures of four of my most favorite people in the world. (Reminds self to ask for a copy of this so I can put it on the wall of family pictures.)

Happiness is a butterfly – Day 2

This month I chose the word “freedom” as my manifesting intention. Since I sit in a cage at work, it adds to my feeling of being in prison so I’m looking to bring in the energy of being free.

As I walked into work this morning, this lovely butterfly (alas, dearly departed) showed up on the steps inside the parking garage. I took a picture because it was just so beautiful.

Later in the day I looked up the meaning of a butterfly totem and of course, as the Universe would have it, some of the energies associated with it were …. freedom and transformation. No surprise there, eh? Gotta love me some serendipity!

Also, as I noticed it had yellow in it and that was Lauren’s favorite color, I said hello to her. Like a chiming crystal bell I heard her voice in my head and she was *right there*.

We had a lovely conversation on the way in to the office and when I asked her if she wanted me to pass on any messages to her family she said “They all connect with me in their own way.” That was so sweet. Just like her. (Gosh, I miss her.)

The butterfly and the unexpected visit with the Goddaughter of Love (and Angels) made it a happy start to the day.
