This is how someone (name changed to protect the innocent) characterized me:
sweet and sexy health-touching, personal-coaching, blog-writing, job-hating, jammy-dodging Lisa…
I rather like that. I think it sums me up quite nicely (and yes, I do especially like the sweet-and-sexy part).
Here’s what I am not: van-driving, Mickey Mouse T-shirt wearing, craft bear-buying, non-book reading, non tea drinking Lisa. :)
The Sopranos was pretty decent last night. I loved the intervention – Mob Style!
ChristoFUH is such a dumbass. I hate hate hate him. He’s NOT hunky and he’s not cool and he is most definitely NOT Tony. A BIG Shout out to my husband for watching EVERY episode of this season with me when I really think he would rather be doing ANYthing else. Watching bad tv, perhaps. (which is NOT The Sopranos) What a guy, hey?
I sent resumes out to several positions. I think my excessive (for what I do here anyway) salary will be a hinderance in getting a new job as I will be asking for a salary probably way higher than they want to pay. But, at least I’ve put it out there to the Universe that I am looking for a new job. That counts for something (doesn’t it??)
Oh universe … push me in the right direction for where I am supposed to be (‘cuz here sure as hell ain’t it!!)
That sounds like an accurate assessment to me! Especially the sweet and sexy part! While I admire that I also admire more the things you are not. You are NOT a soccer mom or the kind of Stepford wives in my neighbhorhood who seem to sleepwalk through life and have the personality of a pancake. You are NOT afraid to try new things just because they seem weird to many or go against societal prejudices. You are NOT afraid to grow as a person or to take on new challenges in life. These are all things I find very endearing and some of the many reasons I hold you in high regard. Plus you’re a sweetie!
