…but ‘ow strong? :)
(Small pony blah blah blah cakes)
I find that the Universe had a quirky sense of humor since it placed an Indian man in my Reiki Level 1 class. How odd is that? He was, uh, different. Seemed like a nice man although his manners in public left a bit to be desired. Burping is not really appreciated in a small room nor is talking at your convenience regardless of who else is speaking.
Anyway, Level 1 class is done and I loved it. Much more than Healing Touch because Reiki really uses the intuitive skills of the practitioner in conjunction with the energy so it’s even more effective than was HT. While HT was where I was at the time I took it, I never really resonated with it the way I thought I would. That was, however, very early on in my journey. There was much work to do in other areas before I could trust my intuition and higher self to guide me when doing this work. That’s why Reiki fits for me. I am definitely at that place now. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the road has been very zig-zaggy but it definitely put me on the right path. Zoom Zoom!
It was an excellent weekend and I can’t wait to be able to be of service in this way. The Level 2 class is sometime in June and I think I will be ready to take that. As far as the Reiki Master/Teacher class, I think I will wait a bit to go for that (6-8 months) mostly because I need the practice on others, time to gather the money (it’s a tad costly but it shows you are serious about wanting to teach it, which I am) and just time to integrate where the energy has taken you.
If you are one of my good pals, all you have to do is ask for a session and I will be happy to oblige. (come on, you know you want to! hehe)
I’m also getting a couple crystals to balance the energy at work so my last 2 weeks (or so) will be calm.
Anyway, that was my weekend. How was yours?
Hey you! Congratulations on the new house!!! What is the difference between Reiki and the Healing Touch? Any news From Sharon? I would love to hear from you. Hockey-less Kim
