And you know what? This ain’t even the worst of it

And you think I despise dubs a lot?? Check it, babies:

From a comment on Americablog:

Look, every fucking thing this guy does or says turns to shit. Every fucking thing. He is an unmitigated, complete disaster. The next time I hear someone who voted for this evil soulless jerk say, “Well, I wouldn’t vote for him now,” I swear I’m gonna haul off and smash their face in. What next? What the hell next? New York and now New Orleans have suffered mightily on this guy’s watch while he sits on his useless ass and then vomits out condescending platitudes then disappears from sight. How long? How much more can we be expected to take from this horror?

More from AmericaBlog:

As the extent of Hurricane Katrina’s devastation became clearer on Tuesday – millions without power, tens of thousands homeless, a death toll unknowable because rescue crews can’t reach some regions – President Bush carried on with his plans to speak in San Diego, as if nothing important had happened the day before.

Katrina already is measured as one of the worst storms in American history. And yet, President Bush decided that his plans to commemorate the 60th anniversary of VJ Day with a speech were more pressing than responding to the carnage.

A better leader would have flown straight to the disaster zone and announced the immediate mobilization of every available resource to rescue the stranded, find and bury the dead, and keep the survivors fed, clothed, sheltered and free of disease.

Gotta tell ya, I agree wholeheartedly. We all knew he sucked but we were trying to hold our breath and make it to the end of Boy George’s reign in ’08 without toooo much (more) damage. Alas, no. How hard is it to act like you give a shit? Hell, even *I* can do that and I’m not that good of an actor. He’s had lots more experience at it, surely. Without Rove’s hand up his ass to move his mouth, he’s not worth a plugged nickel.

(sigh) It just sucks. I am glad I can do distance healing and have been sending it out every day to all those affected by the Hurricane. I’ve contributed to the Red Cross (and Duty is going to as well) but I feel so helpless here. (big sigh)
