I think I’ve had enough of rain for now …

… I love the rain, oh yes I do. However, I think I’ve had enough of that for now. I would like to request of the gods who handle such matters that they bring sunshine and breezy conditions. The rain is making me grumpy.

So, what’s the haps, you ask?

Mom’s condo stuff is FINALLY done (I think. Crosses her fingers) That was a HUGE project and I would like to give my own self props for doing it. So, props be to ME! YEY!

Caps are sucking hard this year so far but that was expected what with all the newbies and whatnot. GOL and I were praying for penalties on different players so we could see who they were! (That’s not being a very good fan, is it?) Honestly though, I am just happy to have hockey back. Duty and I are going to a game against Tampa Bay on Sunday. Wheee!

Speaking of GOL, she is slated to start chemo soon. (SIGH) I can’t blame her for hating it. This isn’t as intensive as the last one (from what I understand) so that’s something to be thankful for at this point. If you get a chance, send her some light, and love and good thoughts and energy. I shall be working my own magic over here

I am thankful for my work from home situation. It affords me that much wanted “financial independence” that I was terrified of losing when I quit full time. But I gotta tell ya, I totally don’t want to be in that world anymore. It feels so far away (not literally but figuratively) and I’m just not motivated to do stuff. BUT! I cannot look a gift horse in the mouth (as they say) so I shall continue to work on stuff from home.
