Herewith are a few things that are amusing me today:
-
1. A Firefox extension that puts a DELETE button on my Gmail interface. Why Gmail didn’t do that is anathema to me but they make you open the friggin’ dropdown box every time. Guess what, Gmail? I don’t want to keep EVERYTHING that comes to my in box. Amazing concept – deleting crap mail – isn’t it? I found the 30 best FF extensions on some website and while I downloaded several, this is the one that thrills my little soul. See? C & E!
-
2. The Stephanie Miller show – she’s soooo snarky and lovingly lefty. God bless her. I’m glad I can get it streaming live on the internet(s). Otherwise, to listen to her I’d have to go drive around Washington highways for three hours and that’s just not fun (not to mention inconvenient).

3. Knitting while listening to books on my Ipod. How fun is that? (Lots, actually) Although I think I need an in-person refresher course in knitting (and/or switching to crocheting) since my particular brain doesn’t allow me to translate two dimensional pics into reality. I totally cannot follow those things. I believe I need to channel my grandma who could knit and crochet like nobody’s business without any patterns or anything. OMMMMM
Seems like my MANY (ha!) readers are enjoying my lists of stuff (3! comments – wow. I’m thrilled – seriously! And one from a new reader to the site!! (Waves to Lisa in New Zealand)). Now I’m feeling the pressure to be witty! and funny! and smart! (hides under the covers).
Political comment of the day from KOS himself:
But of course Republicans want to turn “liberal bloggers” into a dirty word since that’s what they’re best at. God forbid they run the country effectively, depriving us of material to use against them. But, rather than trying to figure out how to effectively govern, they do what they do best — they try and tear down the opposition.
Gotta love them Repugs. Cripes. It’s gonna be a fun year.
(ETA the linky for the gmail delety button. It makes my life ever so much joyful!)
Wow! I didn’t know you were a Firefox extension fanatic. You are becoming such a geek! Thanks for spreading the Firefox gospel sister!
I crochet – come by sometime and I’ll teach you what little I know. I’m currently (slowly) working on an afghan for Tyler (or if I really like it, I’ll keep it for myself!)
I will have to check out that extention. It makes sense to me..
