Everyone who came to know Lauren either through her blog or personally would have to agree that she saw life through a different set of eyes than most people. Her optimistic outlook, quirky sense of humor and keen observation, evident in her blog postings, was even more evident in her photos.
Have a look:
She called this picture of her best friends, the “traffic light”.
Tomato face says, “Happy Easter, puny humans!”
upside down Cindy
And Lauren commented that “Indiana is flat”
“very, very, flat!”
Hey Mary!
I always LOVED Lauren’s photos … especially of the food she made. Quite the cook. I have an unhealthy obsession with Alton Brown and everytime I watch him I think of Lauren getting to meet him.
I am sure Lisa told you, but I had Lauren’s name read at our Relay for Life here in our luminaria ceremony. It is such a moving tribute, she could not be left out. Our goal this year was $150K and to date, we have raised over $168K, making tiny Clarendon County, S.C. one of the top per capita earners in the nation!!!
I like to think that Lauren spirit was somehow involved in that victory!!!
Blog on mighty women!!!
Love,
Cathy
