Blogs that I’ve found recently that I really like:
Mr. Fab: Just reading his sidebar made me laugh out loud!
In the immortal words of Edie Brickell “Choke me in the shallow water before I get too deep”. Indeed. She was so wise. It’s a shame she died so young. Edie, we hardly knew ye. What? She’s not dead? Well, her career is.
He recently got fired from work for mentioning his work while blogging! Can you imagine? He didn’t say where he worked specifically, just some random comments and POOF! The blog world’s term for that is “Dooced” and yes, Heather Armstrong, she of the fabulous Dooce website coined it when she got fired because she mentioned her work on her blog. If you like your snark with a manly feel to it, check out Mr. Fab. He’s good peeps.
Cakesniffers – she’s from London and is so british in her writing style – not the hoity Queen Elizabeth style but the “for fuck’s sake” style. I love it! I check in on her from time to time and she always makes me laugh.
Welcome to bedding and textiles. It’s really difficult to concentrate on the task in hand when you overhear the conversations of people who are admiring the most vile things with far too much enthusiasm and volume… in a Scouse accent and a speech impediment.
Novelist in Training – she’s a great writer (I hate her for that!)
Because of my high school’s church group and middle school’s anti-drug program, I can pretty safely say that I am one of the world’s premier experts on evil music. Throw in my seventh-grade choir instructor, and I have a full cast of song-killers from my past whispering warnings to me any time such treats as “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and “Hero” corrupt the airwaves in my presence.
YEY! Ms. Non-Blogger herownself is back! Woo hoo!
