Whew! I think I am now officially recovered after a week of running back and forth to Baltimore for mom and 24 hours of blogging. Don’t hold me to it, but I think I am back on solid ground.
Thanks first of all to Cousin ‘O Love for both sponsoring AND participating. Next year, I’m gonna rope in more peeps and do a group blog thingy (look out SOL and Dani!) with a slumber party. I think you will definitely see some drunk blogging then! heh
Second, I’d like to thank ALL those lovely people who sponsored us in this effort. I’m expecting a couple more checks to come in which will raise the total a bit but at the end of the official blogathon we had raised $1124! And just as important were those who came by (IM and comments) to cheer us on and let us know that we were NOT blogging in a vacuum. You all made us feel LOVED.
Third, thanks to Duty for keeping us fed and for being our cheerleader. He’s a treasure (not a national one but that’s because he’s MINE MINE MINE!).
Finally, I’d like to thank the Academy for allowing me this role of a lifetime. :) (What? This isn’t the Oscars? Are you sure??)
Today, I am going to pay some bills, tidy up around the hacienda, and maybe go out for a snowball or some such nonsense. Just a day to BE.
Wow, congrats on being a part of it. What a huge endeavor. I couldn’t have done it! My TT is up.
I couldn’t have done that. I’m glad you enjoyed yourself!
So now that it’s over, where do we send our money?
You deserve a rest for your good deed.
Stopping by and checking to see if you recooped. “Lugging some lotion for those raw typing fingertips.” Oh… I’m sorry. I picked up the wrong stuff. Um… gosh.. this is totally embarrassing.
Could you use some Colgate Cinnamon Rush Toothpaste? -Marge
Congrats on the blog-a-thon. Next year, i’ll send over a little something to help pass the time more flavorfully.
Thanks for a great blog. Reading it has become part of my (almost) daily routine.
Wow, what a week – I hope things are “settling down.”
