So, yeah. It’s 11:57pm and I’m wide awake. Turned off the light at 10:45, mulled over some stuff in my head, got too noisy in said head so listened to music. That was not helpful at all. Wide awake. However, it is all to your benefit, three people, because I decided to start my “Wednesday 100” – a 2009 updated version of my 100 things about me (found at the top tabs on this page).
And now (drum roll, please), I give you:
-
I drink a lot of coffee but I make it rather weak so it’s probably not a whole lot of caffeine. (I like to delude myself thinking that. Play along, won’t you?)
Bridget Jones’s Diary has held up for quite a while as my favorite movie of all time. I see a lot of myself in her.
I am actively working at living my life solely by intuitional guidance. So far, so good. Although it can be hard when you have to say things that are scary. That’s when my angels counsel this: “Speak always from your heart”. They haven’t steered me wrong yet.
I have never liked any kind of conflict and will try to remove myself from situations where that’s commonplace (most especially my former place of employ).
My personal motto is “Be the change you want to see in this worldâ€.
I love, love, love pad thai. I could eat this every single day and not get sick of it. Of course, then I’d be eleventy million pounds but dammit, I’d be happy!
I own my ‘crazy cat lady’ personality. I’m pretty sure I will have cats around me until I depart this life and probably even then come back and convince a few more to hang out with me.
I miss Midjull the most of my 3 cats who have gone to kitty heaven.
He was my most spiritual cat (if not the brightest one). When I would do my meditations in the woo-woo room in the other house, he was always there with me in that energy. And he has the distinction of being the first animal voice I “heard†when I started tuning in to my clairaudience. (He said “I’m a cat! I. AM. A. CAT!†Typical dopey midjull.)
One of the best things about my newest cat, Sophia, is that I had to earn her love. I did it with treats and 3am pettings. (Ha! I’d wake up to find her all snuggled up under my chin just purring away. She would never do that when I was awake, just while I’m dead asleep!) She is really a wonderful cat and outside of her random barfing incidents and penchant for love gnawings, she’s nearly perfect.
Tune in next Wednesday for another episode of “How the Snark Turns” (hint: pretty slowly)
I am the exact same way when it comes to conflict. I am a classic Libra; I thrive on harmony & peace.
