A little while ago I had an in-depth consultation with Risa D’Angeles, a most wonderful and wise esoteric astrologer whom I know from the Seminary. I read her weekly astrological column (posted here) and more often than not, what she says fits exactly with where I am in my life. It’s odd but not surprising, given what I know of the metaphysical.
Anyway, here’s what she wrote for Libra for this week and damn if it’s not spot on.
You continue to assess what you’re able to provide to others, especially those close to you. You also review exactly what you need. Sometimes realizations can be difficult especially for Librans who want to have harmony above conflict, ease above constant change. You want more depth, more meaning, closeness and yet freedom. Quite a dilemma. Maintain silence this week, listening instead of speaking. You’ll learn a lot. Silence and listening harmonize.
“You review exactly what you need.” Yes, that is what I am doing and as she notes, realizations are difficult. I’m not liking some of them at all. In fact, I pretty much have no clue what I need. I know what I want. Possibly not the same thing. But I am giving it some serious thought as the message has been sent to me at least three different times this past week. Y’all know I don’t fool around when the Uni sends a hand delivered message.
“Maintain silence this week …” she counsels. Uh oh. That might be hard unless I am whisked right from a David Cook show wherein I lose my voice for three days. Did you guys know my nickname when I was younger was “motormouth”? Yeah. It was. My family (and a select few others) will tell you it still fits. :)
I am beginning to think we are related somehow. My nickname (given to me by my father) was “Louisville Lip,” after Muhammad Ali.
